If you happen to encounter a gigantic version of it as you are nearing Heston Services, it would be nearly impossible to resist the temptation to slip in and get a more traditional sized one to go with your coffee.

It appears that the snack/convenience food industry really have taken the mantel on when it comes to creative vehicle wraps on the sides of HGVs. This is something you would expect from the giants in the soft drink industry to get in on.

Of course, Coca-Cola is no stranger when it comes to truck advertising. We all know what fixture the company’s ‘Holiday’s Are Coming’ ad campaign is
to the build-up to Christmas all around the world each year. They do appear to be happy ensuring that the delivery trucks have the most refreshing pictures on them all year long.

Not to be outdone, Pepsi, the perennial soft drink rival, has created their own inventive HGV designs, which include head-turning graphics that turn everything upside down.

We really love the ingenuity of this. Is is an HGV rendition of the Russian Nesting Doll, which includes having its own small container in the center. It is an ad for Hot Wheels, and it is absolutely ideal marketing for this toy manufacturer. On the outside big with a large truck and the work on all way down until you get to the fun Toy miniature inside.

Just give peas a chance. That’s all we’re saying.

We definitely can’t advocate in anyway drinking and driving. However, it doesn’t have to be boring driving the alcohol from the distribution center to the club, pub or shop. Heineken claims its lager has a refreshing taste, and its approach is certainly refreshing to help liven this container truck which would be rather mundane otherwise.

I guess it depends on what your personal taste and preference are. Do you like a good stout or lager?

Either way, these ingenious marketers at Ireland’s best-loved export are also going straight for the gullet with its HGV graphic of a gigantic can of its black brew.

We can definitely imagine cruising along in our M1 and suddenly encountering this image right in front of us. Quite frankly we’re not sure if we would know if we were coming or going at that point.

The Rubix cube might be a symbol of the 1980s, however, it hasn’t ever really gone away. This creative vehicle wrap is a joyful illustration of just how fun truck side advertising really can be. Wouldn’t you smile some if you happened to encounter this while you were driving?
